New Raider Requirements
NEW RAIDER REQUIREMENTS AS OF TUESDAY 10/20/09 (subject to change due to interpretations and tweaking)

"We are a competent raid force that raids casually"
- Vardas, Master Coercer

Raiding. One word that means something different to everyone. There are those that want to raid all the time, those that want to raid moderately, and those that only want to raid once in a while. In order to accommodate all types of guildies, we have listened to members' ideas and have come up with the following solutions.

Everyone agreed at the Open Forum that a raid force needs to be a raid force that

1) is consistent
2) is competent (a probationary period will be instituted)
3) is punctual
4) involves as many guild members as possible

First off our raiding schedule is:
Mondays: 9:30 - 11:15pm EST (Gather at 9:00pm)
Wednesdays: 9:30pm - 12:00pm EST (Gather at 9:00pm)
Saturdays: 8:30pm - Raiders tire EST (Gather at 8:00pm)

So, that is 3 raids a week, approximately 12 Raids a month.

--To even get an opportunity to Raid, those interested MUST sign up on the web-site on the calendar.
--If Raid is totally filled or close to being filled by the gathering time, we can start to zone and clearing trash if needed.
--If Raid is not filled up by 15 minutes AFTER the gathering time, we will look elsewhere to fill out the raid with needed classes.
--If people mark "may be late" on their sign-ups, their position will be held until the start of the raid.

We will have three types of Raiders (Names of ranks yet to be determined).
1) Blood Legionnaires : "Frequent Raiders"
2) Blood Auxiliaries: "Moderate Raiders"
3) Bloodsworn - the infrequent Raiders.

So, lets break down what each type of Raider is and what is required to be in that rank.

1) Blood Legionnaires (Frequent Raiders):
These Raiders are considered the "hardcore" of the raiding force and will make up the majority of the raid force.

Requirements:
--This Raider is one who plans raiding a minimum of 80% of the time (10 of the 12 raids).
--This Raider MUST be approved by the Skill Set Committee (Discussed Later).
--This Raider MUST sign up on the raids whether they are coming or not.
--If this Raider is on-line, they MUST be at the raid during raid times, unless it is not their turn to raid (in the event of several of the same class of raiders).

Benefits:
-- Preference on Raid Attendance - As long as signed up for the raid, and are in good standing, a spot on raids will be reserved over other types of raiders.
-- Loot Preference - Main characters will get first dibs on all loot that is dropped.
-- Extended Guild Raider Bank rights.

2) Blood Auxiliaries: (Moderate Raiders):
These Raiders are considered the "moderate" raiders. These raiders may either not raid frequently, or have not yet been approved by the Skill Set Committee.

Guest Raiders from out of the guild will be considered Blood Auxiliaries.

Requirements:
--This Raider is one who plans raiding a minimum of 50% of the time (6 of the 12 raids).
--This Raider MUST sign up on the raids whether they are coming or not.
--If this Raider is on-line, they MUST be at the raid during raid times, unless it is not their turn to raid (in the event of several of the same class of raiders).

Benefits:
-- Preference on Raid Attendance - As long as signed up for the raid, and are in good standing, a spot on raids will be reserved over infrequent raiders.
-- Loot Preference - Main characters will get dibs on all loot that is dropped if Blood Legionnaires pass.
-- Guild Raider Bank rights.

3) Bloodsworn: (Infrequent Raiders):
--This Raider is an infrequent raider. These raiders are ones that raid a couple times a month if they so desire.

Requirements:
--This Raider MUST sign up on the raids they want to attend.
--Carry 100 potions of the various remedies for raiding.
--Be ready to Raid 30 minutes before raid time.

Benefits:
--The chance to enter zones not entered before
--The chance to get loot if no Legionnaires or Auxiliaries need.

Bloodsworn Tribune (Skill Set Committee):

(For complete SSC information, benchmarks, members, etc., click on the Link under the Guild Information Section)
In order to maintain a competent raid force, there will be set up a Skill Set Committee to help guide members of the raid force by setting up benchmarks and provide guidance to guild members. This committee will be made up of 8 guildies. 2 Guild Members from each archetype (Warrior,Mage, Scout, Priest) will be selected by the guild officers/leaders to act as Class Leaders and Raid Selection.

Duties:
1) Create Benchmarks for characters in order to increase success of raid.
2) Field guild member questions pertaining to their class.
3) Approve promotions/demotions to the various levels of Raider.

Gaining Rank:
If you desire to gain any of these ranks, you must work your way up.
****All current members who care to raid, will start as a Bloodsworn Auxiliary until December 1st, 2009. At that point we will follow through with the Skill Set Committee Recommendations. After 12/1/09, all rules and regulations will be followed*****

-- If you desire to become a Blood Legionnaire, you must spend 1 month (Probationary Period) as a Blood Auxiliary, obtain the requirements (Attendance, sign-ups, etc), and meet the Blood Tribune's benchmarks and approval.
-- If you desire to become a Blood Auxiliary, you must spend 1 month (Probationary Period) as a Bloodsworn, obtain the requirements (Attendance, sign-ups, etc).

Maintaining Rank:
In order to keep your rank, members MUST keep up with the requirements. On the 1st of every month, the attendance requirement will be addressed.
--If your attendance drops below the minimum over a 30 day period, we will check your 90 day period (will be located on the site). If that 90 day period is above the minimum, then you are okay. However, if that 90 day period is also under the minimum, you will be dropped down to the next lower rank. If you are able to get your attendance up over the next 2 weeks, your rank will be reinstated.
